Holly Bennett makes sculpture of people, animals and unusual creatures, which she uses as metaphors to tell an internal narrative. She works with great consideration, integrity and humour, and communicates through direct visual impact and shared emotive response. She creates sculpture that is exciting and moving, and which speaks to an audience who is interested in engaging with areas of deeper significance within our lives.

The original sculptures are modelled in wax onto a wire armature, and are then cast as editions into a beautiful British eco-resin. This exciting production method pioneered by Holly makes these exquisite sculptures easily accessible as additions to our homes and our contemplations.

Sculpture is a drive to investigate internal things by making them manifest in physical form. Something that has come from such a personal directive can have such meaning and resonance for someone else. The depth at which one person is working is the depth at which the other person can receive it. This is the value of art - to connect us with truths through emotional impact.
