Access:
The Hive Art Room has level access and an accessible toilet.
Disabled parking bays are available at the front of the building.
Carers may attend for free as long as they are not participating in the course or workshop. Please let us know when you enrol.
Assistance Dogs are very welcome.
Regrettably, we do not have Induction Loops in the building.
If you need any additional support, please let contact us in advance so that we can make arrangements for you.
Covid Policy:
If we have to cancel a course due to covid, then you will receive a full refund.
In the event of National Lockdown or unforeseen circumstances, we may run courses online as an alternative.
If you are absent due to Covid, we regret, we can not refund the course.
If we have to make changes to the course dates due to unforeseen circumstances, we will either offer alternative dates or provide a refund.
In line with current Government Covid requirements:
The Art Room and accessible toilet surfaces and equipment will be sanitized before and after each class.
At the moment participants and staff are required to wear a face-covering whilst in the building, including during classes, unless exempt.
Social distancing will be observed during classes and workshops.
We are required to keep participants’ contact details for 3 weeks, and to inform The Hive and other participants if anyone tests positive.
Please do not attend if you have any Covid symptoms.
These policies may change in line with changes in Government guidelines.
Refreshments:
The Hive’s Swallow Café is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 08.45 - 3.30. After these hours we have access to tea & coffee.
Travel:
There is parking in The Hive car park, or outside on street.
The Hive is on the main bus route between Radstock & Bath, operating about every 20 minutes during the day.
There are bicycle racks available outside.
The Art Room is accessed via the main Hive entrance during the day, and via the side entrance during evenings, or for level access.
Booking Policies & Information:
Bookings can be made:
Online. Payments via credit or debit card, Apple pay, or PayPal.
By phone: 07980 625 004. or email. Payments via credit or debit card, BACS, or cheque.
In person. Payments via credit or debit card, BACS, or cheque.
On booking and paying for a course or workshop you will receive a booking and payment confirmation via email.
Please pay in full for your course or workshop to guarantee your place. We do not accept deposit or part payments.
Places are booked on a first-come-first-served basis upon receipt of full payment.
Please book early to guarantee your place & avoid disappointment.
It may be possible to join a course that has already started, if there are places available. Please contact us to find out.
If the course or workshop is full, please contact us if you would like to be put on a waiting list. Any places that become available will be allocated in the order that they were requested.
At the moment you must be over 18 for these classes but this will soon be reduced to 16. Classes and workshops for children and young people will also be added soon.
Refunds:
If we have to cancel a course, then you will receive a full refund using the same method of payment.
If you paid with a Gift voucher you will be given a new voucher.
If you cancel your course or workshop up to 14 days before its start date, you will receive a full refund minus a 5% admin fee.
If you cancel with less than 14 days notice a refund will be not given unless the course is already full and another participant books the vacated place.
Transfers:
You may transfer to another course or workshop or for a subsequent term up to 14 days before the start date of the original booking. There may be additional fees to pay if the course or workshop that you are transferring to is more expensive.
You can transfer your booking to another person at any time before the course or workshop has started.
Gift Vouchers:
Gift vouchers have no expiry date.
They cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
