Bizarre Creature Riders. 

Strikingly coloured bizarre creatures and their riders, offering a humorous take on life’s many twists and turns.

These people are sitting steadily on their Bizarre Creatures, whatever aerial acrobatics they might express. The riders are equally balanced whether their creatures are running along in a steady direction, gliding through the air with a grace not expected from such a blobular form, or leaping up in a sudden expressive imperative. It seems possible to remain in balance even when the circumstances are so bizarre. Even the unexpected can sometimes become familiar.

The Bizarre Creature Riders are made of a beautiful translucent British eco-resin, allowing interesting glimpses through to their internal structure. They are mounted on individual semi-translucent almost black flat acrylic bases, and are 40cm long all together, 19cm tall, and 6.5cm wide, including the bases. They are initialled on each creature’s right side near its end, and come with a signed letter of authentication, stating the edition number.

The sculptures are robust, as well as being lightweight, and can withstand small knocks and movements in the home. I package them in a sturdy cardboard box and they travel very well by courier. They are for sale as a limited edition of 24, either all together or individually.
